What began in March 2024 as two people backing themselves has grown into a trusted partner for builders, developers, and project managers who care about how their projects are finished.
There were no shortcuts — just early starts, late finishes, and proving our standard on site, one project at a time.

How do you work out pricing?
The easiest way to quote accurately is to send us your floor plans, elevations, or a short video walkthrough of the site along with the approximate size of the project.
Once we have that, we will send a price range within 24 hours with a clear breakdown of what is included. You will see the estimated hours, total cost, and a capped amount so you never go over budget. If the range works for you, we will book a quick site visit to confirm access, condition, and final pricing before getting started.
Do you charge by the square metre?
Not exactly. Every job is different depending on access, amount of glass, finishes, debris, and program on site. As a general guide, most residential or renovation cleans come in around eight to ten dollars per square metre depending on condition. For accuracy and fairness, we always quote each job properly rather than using a flat rate.

We are independent. BuildersClean.com.au is one company with local teams across Australia. You deal directly with the people on your job while still getting the systems, documentation, and reliability of a national operation.
Who do you usually work with?
We work with tier one, two, and three builders, custom home builders, developers, renovation builders, shopfitters, architects, owner builders, and commercial clients. We currently work with hundreds of builders around Australia on everything from single homes to major developments.
Where do you service?
We operate across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and regional. reas. If your site is further out, we include a clear travel allowance so there are no surprises.
What do you need from me to quote?
Floor plans and elevations are ideal, but if you do not have them, photos or a short video are fine. Just tell us the size and type of project and we will send through a fast and accurate estimate.
How long until I can get a price?
Usually within 24 hours. For urgent projects just give us a call and we can often get something to you the same day.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Everyone on site works directly for BuildersClean.com.au. This keeps quality consistent and communication simple.
Can you handle high or hard to reach areas?
Yes, we can. Our team is trained and equipped for high access work using poles, ladders, and EWPs. If it is a tricky spot, we can arrange rope access if required.
Do you work after hours or weekends?
Yes, we can. If you need to meet a deadline or finish a stage, we can schedule night shifts or weekend work. We will always confirm the rates before starting so everything is clear.
What qualifications and tickets does your team have?
Every team member has a White Card and relevant site tickets such as EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Working With Children. We assign the right people with the right tickets to suite your site.
Are you insured and compliant?
Yes. We carry twenty million dollars in Public Liability insurance and every employee is covered up to fifty thousand dollars under our Workers Compensation policy. We provide SWMS, safety documentation, and insurance certificates for every project.
What is included in a builder's clean?
A standard builder’s clean usually includes:
- Joinery, benchtops, fittings, and fixtures
- Doors, handles, and hardware
- Skirting, architraves, and trims
- Bathrooms, toilets, and kitchens cleaned top to bottom
- Tiled surfaces, splashbacks, mirrors, and shower screens
- Stainless steel and glass detailing
- Floors vacuumed, mopped, and detailed for handover
- Power points, switches, and fittings wiped clean
- Balustrades, balcony floors, and terraces
- Windows, frames, tracks, and sills cleaned inside and out
We confirm your exact scope in writing before we start so everything is clear from the beginning.
Do you offer re cleans or maintenance cleans?
Yes. We can come back for sparkle cleans, touch ups before handover, or maintenance cleans during the program to keep the site tidy and safe.
Do you take care of waste or debris?
Yes. We remove light waste as part of the clean and can organise skip bins or disposal for bigger clean ups if needed.
Can you work around other trades?
Absolutely. We coordinate closely with site managers and other trades to make sure our cleaning fits smoothly into the program.
What safety measures do you follow on site?
Safety is always a priority. Every team member is inducted and briefed before starting and we follow all WHS requirements. We have current SWMS, insurances, and risk assessments ready to go for every project.
Do you handle caulking as well?
Yes, we do. We provide full caulking services alongside our cleaning, covering internal, external, and wet areas with high quality sealants suited to each material.
Can you work on finished or occupied sites?
Yes, we can. We regularly complete final cleans and caulking in finished or occupied buildings and always take care around completed surfaces and furniture.
